J.O. and V.H. EDSON SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

The J. O. and V. H. Edson Scholarship

Through the generosity of the Edson family, the KU Undergraduate Biology Program will present a scholarship to an outstanding KU sophomore, junior, or senior majoring in biology. Past awards have ranged from $900 to $2,000.

Eligibility: Students who graduated from any high school in Johnson County, Kansas (include name of school in your essay), who currently are majoring in biology (any degree offered by the Undergraduate Biology Program), and who will be sophomores, juniors, or seniors in the Fall 2020 semester (this award is offered only in even years) are eligible for this scholarship.

To apply, please submit the following (in addition to the required information in the above application form):
Essay written by the applicant explaining his/her interest in biology, past accomplishments, and career goals
