OVERVIEW:

Are you interested in programming in industry? PRA EDS is looking for recent graduates with math/science/computer science degrees to join a training program to learn SAS and it’s use in the pharmaceutical industry! This is the gateway to a long and rewarding career in programming and/or the pharmaceutical industry. No programming background required. Knowledge of 1 or more languages helpful.

This 6-week course will train you to use SAS to program for the pharmaceutical industry. After the course you will join a project team, continue your learning, and begin your career.

The Clinical Programmer (CP) is responsible for creating derived datasets, and generating tables, figures and listings to support analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOLLOWING TRAINING PROGRAM:

Perform billable work in accordance with PRA’s policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to provide consistent high-quality deliverables.

Have familiarity with study protocol, case report forms, data transfer agreements, and statistical analysis plans of projects to ensure tasks are following project specifications.

Produce tables, figures, listings and datasets to support the tabulation and analysis of clinical trials. Work may include: Converting data, following project specifications; Creating derived datasets; Generating tables, figures and listings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Undergraduate degree in a quantitative or scientific field required. 

Willingness to learn tabulation, analysis and reporting activities for a clinical trial.

Excellent written and oral communication.

Applies attention to detail.

To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.
