The PHEs are back and better than EVER!

Friday, September 7, 2018

As many of you know, the KU Peer Health Educators (PHEs) is an undergraduate student organization that provides peer-to-peer health education to the broader KU community. Our organization is supported by the Health Education Resource Office (HERO) within Watkins Health Services, and our programming generally falls within several priority health areas: nutrition, alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, sexual health, and stress & self-management. While our mission remains the same and our commitment stronger than ever, the Peer Health Educators are making some changes – and we want you to be a part of it as a Peer Health Ambassador!

If you’re passionate about health, or looking for more ways to get involved on campus, we encourage you to apply TODAY as a Peer Health Ambassador. Ambassadors attend weekly professional development opportunities presented by health and wellness professionals from a number of diverse fields. Ambassadors also gain valuable experience in peer education by working to develop health-related education programming, presentations, and awareness events on campus. Being a Peer Health Ambassador is beneficial to all majors! To apply, click here.

If you’d like to find out more about the Peer Health Educators, check us out on Rock Chalk Central or send us an e-mail!

Good luck with the start of your semester,

Your PHE Coordinators
