Green Careers Networking Event - UPDATED

Friday, October 4, 2019

The University Career Center is hosting a Mocktails & Mingle: Green Careers networking event on October 9th at the KU Alumni Center.

When: Wednesday, October 9th, 5:00-6:30PM

Where: KU Alumni Center

Mocktails and Mingle - Green Careers, invites students interested in environmentally friendly jobs to meet with - through informal networking - working professionals in the field. This is NOT a career fair. This event is for students to take charge of their future careers by asking questions and growing their knowledge about the types of career paths they could pursue upon graduation. Unlike a career fair, this format is much less formal and requires less preparation by students. They just show up, visit and learn. Free “mocktails” and appetizers are provided.

UPDATED list of organizations who will be represented:
Kansas Department of Agriculture
Bureau of Waste Management
Cultivate KC
Bridging the Gap
Climate and Energy Project
Bowersock Mills & Power Company
