Ecotalks at Lawrence Public Library

Thursday, March 28, 2019

The Center for Community Outreach Earth program seeks to engage KU students in environmental volunteer work around campus and the Lawrence Community.

We would like to share an upcoming environmental event with the Biology department. We are hosting Ecotalks at the Lawrence Public Library. EcoTalks is a lecture series focusing on environmental education and action. Each EcoTalk features a expert in a different field of conservation who will offer insight to the issues facing our environment and ways to get involved. You can learn about volunteer opportunities and ways to make change on a personal, local, and larger level. Topics this year include watershed mapping, food insecurity on campus, sustainable gardening, and trail building.

The dates are the evenings of April 5th and 25th from 6:30-8:00.
